I had to share today’s thoughts. Today was a good day. I learned alot more about people. Most important lesson I learned today is, being available to your customers. Calling folks to let them know what is going on during the process is always helpful to a new client. People want to hear what is going on, or where the holdup is.
Also, I always call a fellow agent after he shows one of our properties. I want feedback. Sellers want to hear what is thought of their house. They want to make it better for the next showing. Inprove the product I say.
Sometimes, agents do not call you back. I give them three calls, one per day after the showing. If I don’t hear back from them, I wonder how they are with their clients. I might not work with them, but I am a peer in the industry. Its the professional thing to call back. We all are busy, and things always come up last minute. Also, your building a relationship with a fellow agent. You do not know down the road if your going to be working together on a different property. So if someone calls you back for feedback, take the call. Help someone out today, and tomorrow they might be helping you out.
